Out from Japan, we have realized an interview in Seoul. Takeshi Nakasa talked with Mr. Ichiro Shiomi, a Japanese designer who worked a lot of
commercial space not only in Japan but also overseas. This may be brilliant achievement since the beginning of this column. Like an funny comic chat? Nakasa was a sense of approaching the design of Mr. Shiomi.

Satoshi Shigeta Space Photography exhibition

An photography exhibition of Satoshi Shigeta, a photographer of Nacasa & Partners Inc., will be held from 21th May. It is exhibited with 100 photographs which hi chose from his ten years history, and the exhibition is designed by Mr. Kohki Hiranuma in Mr. Hiranuma’s project, called “Space Lab the University of Tokyo, in Komaba II Campus”. You can see the photographs which he feels the beautiful shadow of space.

Column Vol.10 "Oriental Hotel Kobe was reborn"

This is the tenth memorial with a special feature of "Oriental Hotel Kobe"
which opened on March 3, 2010. We interviewed Mr. Takashi Okada, the
development person in charge of the hotel, and Mr. Ryu Kosaka, the interior
designer. You can get some secret story of hotel birth by their interview.
And also, we joined the opening party and investigated the charm of the
hotel.

Atsushi Nakamichi photography exhibition

An photography exhibition of Atsushi Nakamichi, COO / photographer of Nacasa & Partners Inc., will be held from 9th to 14th June. This exhibition will be the third session following on from Nakamichi's exhibition that has been held once every four years from 2001 called "Say Cheese! The place where I belong". The works was completed by the collaboration with many people when he visit to shoot, including portrayals of architects, designers, production staff and owners. The candid expressions of these subjects come through the humorous world he creates in a relaxed atmosphere.

Mr. Yoshihiro Shinkawa, who is well-known for operating a number of buzz-calling restaurants in Japan.
He happily talked about Shinkawa's style service together with the story when he was working for Global Dining Inc. where he met Nakasa.
